Casa Mario Lupo
Location
It is in the upper town of Bergamo, just 100 m’s walk from Piazza Vecchia. Via Mario Lupo was the ancient Roman way cardus romanus, one of the two main streets that crossed a Roman settlement and intersected at a right angle in its centre. The house belonged to famous Solza family and to the historian, jurist and cleric Mario Lupo (1720-1789).

Building
The building dates back to the XVI century, and is ornamented with paintings, frescoes and with ancients columns in the dining-room and in the patio. The living-room has a charming fireplace in pink marble. Here you can listen from a short distance to the famous 205 peals of the town tower bells every night at 10 pm.
Rooms
The large apartment has 6 beds, a wooden mezzanine and beam ceiling, a lovely dining-room with a pink marble fireplace, kitchen and bathroom with tub and washing machine. The small apartment has 3 beds, bathroom and kitchen.
Park/Garden
We have a small garden, with a white marble table and five chairs, where you can admire the high golden dome of Saint Alexander’s Cathedral. We are also very close to the Parco delle Rimembranze, inside La Rocca fortress.

- Large apartment (for up to 5 persons): € 40,00 to € 50,00 per person. Children aged 3 to 13 pay € 15,00.
- Small apartment: (for up to 3 persons): € 35,00 to € 45,00 per person. Children aged 3 to 13 pay € 15,00.
Special offers
Reduced prices for long stays: for a 4 night stay, half price off on the fourth night; for a 7 night stay, one night free; for a fortnight stay, two 2 nights free). Children from 2 to 13 will be charged only € 10,00 per night.
