La Tordela

Location

We are in Torre de’ Roveri, a village that represents a widespread dream come true: living close to the town keeping away from the typical hustle and bustle of every urban centre. It lies in fact at a stone’s throw from the centre of Bergamo on the road that skirts the beautiful Lake Endine and eventually leads to Lovere. Very close is also Lake Iseo, rich of historical memories and architectural attractions. A little paradise at an altitude of 270 m on the sea level, spread out into the quiet green in the shelter of the prealpine hills.

Building

When you reach La Tordela amid the beauty of Torre de’ Rovery, you are faced with a wide harmonious expanse of vineyards tended with love, care and state-of-the art technologies. The entrance into the realm of the green and wind is highly welcoming. You drive along a pathway several hundred meters long covered with vines branches intertwined to form an unusual vegetal tunnel before you reach the XVIII century building. The frescoes, the XVI century portico, period furniture and ancient etches make La Tordela a fairy-tale place where you can experience the charm of bygone times.

Rooms

We have two rooms with single beds, 2 rooms with double beds, furnished with period pieces. All have bathroom and shower with hairdryer, independent heating and a tv set. We also offer a comfortable apartment with sloping roof comprising a room with two beds, a living-room with a sofa bed for two people with cooking facilities, bathroom with bath tub and hairdryer, independent heating, air conditioning and a tv set. We can add a children’s cot in all rooms; in the wider rooms or in the attic we can also add a single bed.

Park/Garden

The house is located in a wine producing farm.

How to get there

By car

From the A4 motorway Milan-Venice turn off at Bergamo or Seriate and follow the highway to Lovere as far as the exit to Pedrengo-Torre de’ Roveri. Drive on to Torre de’ Roveri. La Tordela is about 400 m after the traffic lights on the left.

By public transport

From the railway station you can take bus no A1.

Rates

Prices refer to room use only, all year round:

• double room single occupancy: € 40,00 a day (16 sqm) or € 45,00 a day (24 sqm).
• double room: € 55,00 a day (16 sqm) or € 65,00 a day (24 sqm).
• Attic: € 120 a day.

Added single bed: € 10 a day. Children’s cot: free of charge. Breakfast: from € 5 per person.

Special offers

Attic: € 700 a week.
