Location

The building dates from the first middle of the 18th century and was the dwelling of the ancient merchants of the city. It was very well located near the marketplace and the centre of business of that period, which is still the merchant throbbing heart of Bergamo.

Rooms

We offer a two room apartment of 60 sqm consisting of bedroom and living room area, kitchen and bathroom with shower. The wooden beam ceiling is painted and a small fresco appears on one of the walls. It’s ideal for two people or a small family.

Park/Garden

Opposite our house there is the beautiful Caprotti park, formerly a private estate, and today a public park with little footpaths and aquatic animals.

How to get there

From the motorway

Enter the roundabout and follow the second sign to Bergamo centre. At the second traffic lights turn right, drive under the train bridge. At the second traffic lights you will see the railway station on your right. Turn left and keep going straight on with the upper town city in front of you. At the second traffic lights turn right, and then left at the second traffic lights. At the end of the street you will be in Via Tasso. (You can always follow the directions to Teatro Donizetti).

From the airport

Take bus no. 1 and in 15 minutes you will get to the city centre. Get off at Porta Nuova, then facing the upper town, turn right at the second traffic lights. into via Tasso. Walk straight on past the theatre and you will find us.

From the railway station

Leave the station and start walking facing the upper town. At the fourth set of traffic lights turn right, and you will be in via Tasso. Walk straight on past the theatre and you will find us.
